Privacy Policy
This website is operated by CSE Recordings LLC (“we”, “us”). If you have questions, contact privacy@thenewsisterhood.com.
What we collect
- Cookie-free analytics (aggregate only). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits at a high level (e.g., pages viewed, referrer, approximate region/country, device/browser/OS, language, performance metrics). Cloudflare’s analytics for this site do not set cookies and are not used to identify individual visitors.
- Server & security logs. Our hosting/CDN providers automatically receive your IP address, user-agent, and request details when you load a page. We use this to operate, protect, and debug the site.
- Emails you send us. If you email addresses listed on the site (e.g., booking@…, license@…, fans@…), we receive your email address and message so we can respond.
What we don’t collect
- No Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or ad tracking pixels.
- No newsletter sign-ups or marketing email list on this site.
- No account creation or login on this site.
Cookies / local storage
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. We may use strictly necessary local storage (e.g., to remember a simple UI preference). These do not track you across sites.
Why we use data (legal bases)
- Legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the site (server logs; aggregated, cookie-free analytics).
- Contract or legitimate interests to respond to messages you send us.
Sharing and service providers
We use service providers such as Cloudflare (CDN, security, analytics) and our hosting/email providers. They process data on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data globally. Where required, appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are used.
Retention
- Server logs: typically retained ~30 days (longer only to investigate abuse/security incidents).
- Emails: kept as business records as long as necessary to handle your request and comply with legal obligations.
- Aggregated analytics: stored without identifying individuals.
Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. To exercise any rights, contact privacy@thenewsisterhood.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Third-party links
Links to platforms (e.g., Apple Music, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram) lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we’ll update the “Effective date” and post the new version here.
